Richard D. Sievers

I was a AV rated lawyer practicing civil trial law in Lincoln Nebraska from 1972 until earky January when I was appointed to the newly created Nebraka Court of Appeals, and I served 4 years as the Court's first Chief Judge. While practicing and for the first 8 years on the bench I served as adjunct faculty at the University of Nebraska College of Law teaching trial sdvocacy and pre-trial litigation, I served nearly 22 years on the appellate bench and authored some 1600 opinions. Since leaving the bench May 31, 2013 I have focused my work on mediation and arbitration, and believe I have particular expertise in complex litigation such as legal and medical malpractice, commerical disputes and estate and trust metters.
