Growing up on a family farm southwest of Bertrand, Nebraska, Jennifer’s passion for agriculture started at an early age. After majoring in agricultural economics at the University of Nebraska, she attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, focusing on agricultural and environmental law, water law, estate planning, and tax law. She earned the highest grade in the class in several classes: environmental law and water resources seminar, agricultural environmental law, and farm and ranch tax.
While in law school, Jennifer was Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and published an article in the Law Review regarding the local regulation of a Nebraska dairy. Jennifer also presented at the 2015 Nebraska Water Law Conference.
