I hired him for my divorce. He never took my calls or returned them. He would email me but never answer my emails. He did not prep me for court. He didn't listen to my questions or concerns. I found out about having a court date by calling the court house. He made it seem like my case did not matter.... He barely argued my case the time we did have a trial. I would not recommend him.

Not great. Paid his minimum retainer but James knew I was broke as a result of my husband leaving and I believe therefore treated my case as an annoyance. He didn't take my questions and concerns seriously; he either laughed them off as non-issues or ignored them completely. Didn't prep me for court... or prepare me for what paperwork I needed to bring to court. Twice I waited over an hour in his office for scheduled appointments that he was late for (wasting my precious paid time off work). My questions about how to get help enforcing child support went unanswered. I'm happy to have been awarded temporary custody of my daughter while the divorce was in progress, but any lawyer could have done that for me. Finally, my official divorce decree has his sloppy handwriting in it because he forgot to include my name change in print. And he mailed it to my old address after I'd updated him with my new one. This lawyer isn't for everyone. Would not recommend.
