Gregory R. Coffey

Greg Coffey grew up in and around Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from Lincoln East High School and the University of Nebraska before going on to law school at the Nebraska College of Law. 

As a teen, Greg was active with his family's cattle operation and showed cattle and horses through 4-H and the state's Junior Angus and Junior Morgan Horse associations.  In college, Greg competed on the University's Speech and Debate team, qualifying for Nationals four consecutive years and reaching the national semi-finals in both extemporaneous and persuasive speaking as a senior.  

After law school, Greg spent his first five years practicing law as an in-house litigation attorney for IBP, inc., then the nation's largest producer of fresh meat products.  After leaving IBP in 1998, Greg and his wife returned to Lincoln to raise their family and he has been in private practice with Friedman Law Offices ever since.
