Duane wrote our family’s trusts, rewrote them 3 times through the years and made a final combined all in one trust. He yelled at me once when I asked a question about the type of trust he used. He removed a portion of the trust regarding purchase of annuities for beneficiaries at death of grantors an...d never mentioned that he had done that. When asked to correct the number of years for payouts to beneficiaries, he gave excuses that making further changes would "mess up the page numbers” and he’d have to retype the whole thing, and "trusts aren't written up that way." He did rewrite things but ended up making changes opposite of what was requested of him such as payouts would extend over more years rather than less years, and all household affects would be sold by him and the bank rather than become immediate property of the beneficiaries. This was discovered 6 months later because Duane did not explain or go over what was being signed claiming there was a lack of time. Duane had handed out different copies to beneficiaries than what he gave grantors.
