Megan Elizabeth Lutz Priefert

Megan Lutz-Priefert is an associate Anderson, Bressman, Hoffman & Jacobs. She joined the firm in August 2016, after working for a boutique family law firm during law school and after graduation. Megan earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University in 2015. Megan graduated from Creighton University Heider College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2013.

During law school, Megan clerked for Judge Peter Bataillon in the Douglas County District Court. She was also a research assistant for Professor Nancy Dickhute, and a senior certified law clerk for the Creighton University Community Economic Development Clinic. Prior to going to law school, Megan had experience working in human resources and customer service.

As a law student, Megan was very active in a number of organizations including Phi Alpha Delta, Law Ambassadors, American Inns of Court, Public Interest Law Forum, and the Creighton International and Comparative Law Journal. Megan also helped to create the Mentor Program at Creighton University School of Law. During law school, Megan also worked as a Senior Certified Law Clerk in the Community Economic Development Clinic where she helped form microenterprises and nonprofits and researched legal issues unique to those new businesses. In addition, Megan was a research assistant for Professor Nancy Dickhute, where she performed research and created a course selection guide. Finally, Megan was published in the Spring 2015 edition of the Creighton International and Comparative Law Journal for her note, A Call for a More Permanent International Definition of Rape.

Megan is admitted to practice law in Nebraska, and the Winnebago Tribal Courts. Megan accepts court appointed cases in the areas of criminal and juvenile law. Megan is also licensed to be a guardian ad litem inNebraska.
