Kelsey Marie Deabler

Kelsey Deabler brings nearly a decade of legal experience dedicated family law to our team. Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Kelsey’s early love of learning was inspired by parents, who are both educators. She ultimately pursued her legal education at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Before joining our firm, Kelsey advocated for the most vulnerable members of our society as a family law attorney at Iowa Legal Aid. She has also represented families in housing law, providing eviction defense to families during the COVID-19 pandemic—a testament to her commitment to serving those in need.

Kelsey’s career path is driven by a commitment to demystifying the legal system and empowering clients with the knowledge they need to navigate the complexities of family law. Kelsey is drawn to divorce work because she recognizes its profound impact on people’s daily lives. Kelsey strives to provide not only sound legal advice but also compassionate guidance through life’s most significant transitions, treating every client with integrity and respect.

Outside of her legal work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her wife and their two Great Danes. A passionate reader, she is often immersed in sci-fi and fantasy novels. Kelsey’s curiosity, compassion, and determination shine through in all she does.
