Deceptive, avoided getting back to me about charges, did not understand my case, went to two hearings in the short time he was hired and did not advocate on my behalf when he had the opportunity to do so. After his withdrawal he charged over $2,000 more in unexplained fees that were not applicable, ...after the final Bill had been paid.

Very poor representation during court. Switched attorneys on me before trial..reason was because Lawrence had trial that day for someone else. Never did any type of evidence gathering, seemed to always act suprised/taking notes down on something that had already been discussed and had notes on. Very... expensive. Overcharged on things that should havent been charged on. Me personally , i regret hiring these guys and if I could go back and fire them before my trial I would have. They totally let me down as a client , were quick to hurry and settle a deal, without even attempting to do any questioning of the opposing party. These guys are pathetic and exactly opposite of aggressive.

I hired Lawrence a few years ago for a family case. Lawrence and his team did an outstanding job!! They do a great job communicating and providing a through case to put forth to a hearing and to trial. Mr. Whelan represented me for a lengthy child custody change case.
