David J. Selby received his law degree (J.D.) from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1985.
He was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 1986 and, in 1988, to the Nebraska Bar.
Originally from Benton Harbor, Michigan, in 1982, Selby received a B.S. from Michigan State University in East Lansing.
Selby is a member of the Omaha, Nebraska State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.
