David M. O’Neill began his legal career as a law clerk at Hauptman, O’Brien, Wolf & Lathrop, P.C. in 2002. A lifelong resident of Nebraska – David was born in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School. In 1998, he graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and went on to earn his law degree from Creighton University in 2005. After graduation, Mr. O’Neill served as an attorney in the Sarpy County Public Defender’s Office and then advanced to the Office of the Federal Public Defender before re-joining Hauptman O’Brien in 2007. His background and connection to a very diverse community are important. Whether he is coaching little league and youth basketball, raising his children, or explaining complex legal matters to his clients, David’s interpersonal skills allow him to communicate difficult information in ways that anyone can easily understand and discuss.
