Anna Devin Deal

Anna provides zealous immigration legal representation to individuals and families in the Seattle area and beyond.  Anna’s practice centers on removal defense, family-based immigration, and humanitarian relief.  Practicing for over a decade, she has extensive experience counseling and advocating for noncitizens facing removal proceedings, asylum seekers, and survivors of violence and crime, including individuals with arrest and conviction history. Anna also has deep experience in family-based immigration solutions, including complex cases involving waivers of inadmissibility, as well as in naturalization for aspiring U.S. citizens.  Anna now has a growing practice supporting individuals and organizations pursuing employment-based immigration options.  Taking a thorough and client-centered approach, Anna guides her clients through complex immigration processes with clarity and perseverance.

Prior to joining MacDonald Hoague & Bayless in 2025, Anna was legal director at a nonprofit law firm in Nebraska where she oversaw a team of 26 attorneys representing immigrants and refugees, educating professional and community audiences, and engaging in system-level advocacy to benefit noncitizens.  Anna’s legal career began as an attorney advisor at a U.S. immigration court where she researched and drafted decisions on behalf of immigration judges.  Anna is conversant in Spanish.
