Basically a public defended

I recently used Mr. Long to fight a very simple charge, none of the issues that could have had my case thrown out were ever looked into or brought up. I was arrested but the stop was illegal in the first place as I hadn’t broken the law the officer claimed I broke. Any even halfway decent attorney co...uld have gotten my case thrown out. Unfortunately that was not the case with Kaz. He showed up to court unshaven looking very disheveled much like you’d expect a public defender to look. Had no desire to make any argument for me. His office is horrible at communication I had to call them repeatedly in order to get information on my court dates. And beyond all that he charges a ridiculous premium price for sub par service. I only payed half the price I have no intention on paying the other half as I don’t think he deserves what he got in the first place. He’s appears to just be incredibly lazy and he’s definitely NOT someone you want defending you he could barely speak clearly even to the judge, he must’ve said uh, or uhm, a dozen times in a matter of 60 seconds of speaking. You could get the exact same outcome he could provide with an actual public defender. Absolutely atrocious. Thankfully for me the court screwed up and I ended up getting off Scott free absolutely no thanks to “attorney” Kaz Long.

Kaz rocks

Kaz is always easy to contact, day or night and weekends also. He calls me right back. If I have questions and is thorough in helping me get the best outcome for my case.

An Attorney who cares

Kaz helped me through a very delicate work issue. Most Attorney's that I contacted offered little or no advice, wouldn't take my case. Kaz assisted me through every single step along the way.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
