This attorney DID not represent his client to the fullest. Much like other reviews he does not communicate with his clients at all and when he does he tells you what you want to hear. 6 months in jail and he only saw him 1 or 2 times other than in Court and was totally unreachable by telephone. He... also LIES! Telling you he has spoken to the Judge and to the prosecutor when you find out later at sentencing that he CLEARLY HAD NOT. Please, please, please, If your life is on the line DO NOT put it in his hands. It is not safe in them.

I highly recommend looking elsewhere when hiring an attorney. Although done can be a very nice guy and make you feel like he cares about your Best interest in fact he does not lose any sleep whether winning or Losing. His lack of communication Is a major issue. He does not respond to emails, does ...not answer calls, or even return them. I understand that being a lawyer is time consuming and he cant always talk, However I feel that I should be able to get ahold of my lawyer more than wants a month through any of the channels of communication that I listed. When you do talk to him finally he Will say everything you want to hearEven when there is things you should know that may not make you happy about the case.I'm not going to go on and on I will just say do your research before hiring this attorney. He is a nice person , just not a very good attorney.

I hired Don for my divorce/custody case. I paid a flat rate and felt like I was treated as a bottom-of-the-pile client. Don was very difficult to contact via email, phone, and text, and would take days, weeks, or even up to a month to return messages. He also failed to communicate important informati...on - for example, he forwarded me very detailed questioning from the other party several weeks after my responses were due. I found out later in court that there had been two motions to receive the information, which I never knew because I had been in the dark about it. He overlooked several of my requests when we finally went to trial (his request for money owed was less than it should have been, child support was significantly less than it was calculated, no request of court fees paid by other party, etc.). Once documents were drafted, it was another two months before they were filed - the other lawyer claimed he had been waiting on Don. Don denied that claim, but I believe it based on my experiences with him. In the end, Don never even communicated that the papers had been filed, my ex told me and I had to contact Don in order to receive the papers. I have had multiple people ask me for information about my divorce attorney and my only response is, “go with anyone but him.”
