I am a Dodge City attorney with offices at 107 Layton Street, Suite A, Dodge City, Kansas, focusing my practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Family Business/Small Business Succession Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Elder Law, and related matters.
I received my Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance Degree in 1985 from Wichita State University. I am a 1990 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, where I graduated with High Honors. While at the University of Tennessee, I served on the Tennessee Law Review and was selected to the "Order of the Coif."
I am a past officer of the Elder Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association and the Board of Editors of the Journal of the Kansas Bar Association. I was appointed to the Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission by the Kansas Supreme Court in 2004, and the Kansas Board of Law Examiners in 2009.
I am a past president of the Ford-Gray County Bar Association, and am a member of the Southwest Kansas, Kansas and American Bar Associations. I also am a member of Wealth Counsel, Inc., a national consortium of Estate Planning Attorneys.
I am a frequent lecturer on the topic of Wills, Trusts and Estates. I also am involved in local community and civic activities, and currently serve as a Director on the board of the Hospice of the Prairie, Inc.
