I hired her for a DV custody case, along with a criminal case. Both of which ended very badly. I paid her $7,000 and couldn’t come up with the remaining $3000 right before trial so she withdrew . Which left me no other choice but to be pro se. Not once did she really listen to me, ever look into my ...evidence, or represent me accordingly which she was hired! She failed to contact any of my witness, she failed to see the violation of my constitutional rights on the discovery, she also gave my custody up with no grounds to stand on, while saying, “we won!” She then failed to even ask for visitations for me as well. This woman helped forever change our lives and left nothing but a very bitter and sour taste for lawyers & the judicial system in our mouths! And now to find she’s a “indigent” lawyer, hahaha. Well why didn’t she continue to represent me when I ran out of money?! But instead left me hanging, but still sending a bill for the $3000 plus. SMH. So my advice for anyone with Mackenzie McCoy- Is she is bought and or works for them, NOT YOU!! And if your lucky she won’t destroy your entire world. My advice is your better off representing yourself in the beginning so she doesn’t mess it up!! And I pray God bestows his greatest grace upon this woman!
