Jessica Valdois Suhr

Jessica is a dedicated attorney serving her clients with great care and expertise. For over 17 years, Jessica has focused on providing compassionate care for children and families. As an Of Counsel attorney at Ward Law LLC, Jessica is handling family law matters, including child custody, child support, the establishment of paternity, and divorce. Jessica has a deep commitment to families in need in the Wichita community. After graduation, Jessica worked at Kansas Legal Services, where she worked on family law matters, protection from abuse cases, and social security disability cases.

In 2002 Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in sociology from the University of San Diego. She graduated from the University Kansas School of Law with her Juris Doctorate in 2005. During the summer of 2004, Jessica completed an internship at the Children’s Law Center in Los Angeles, California.

Not only is Jessica dedicated to her clients, but she is also a committed community servant. She sat on the Board of Directors for the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County from 2015 to 2021 and was President of the board for two years. Jessica joined the Junior League of Wichita (JLW) in 2006 and served on the Board of Directors during the 2014-2016 League year. As Chair of JLW’s Project Development Committee, she helped develop the League’s $300,000 partner project with the Child Advocacy Center. Jessica currently serves as JLW’s sustaining advisor to the New Member class and a sustaining appointee on the Endowment Committee. In 2020, Jessica joined the Board of Directors for Rise Up for Youth where she currently sits on the Executive Committee and serves as the Board Secretary.
