Oct 14, 2005OUTCOME: Won Jury Verdict after 11/2 hours of deliberation
Case was a medical malpractice case. Dr. was accused of a botched root canal which had been begunb by another Dr. under his control. Dr. Ricardo had a number of previous Board Complaints and lawsuit ... s. He had settled those suits under the guidance of another attorney, which just increased the the chances of there being more such suits Unfairly, he had been listed on a local news program as one of the top 5 worst Dentists in the State of Texas. IT was up to me to educate the jury on the procedure itself and on the doctor. I need to show them that the criticisms of him were unfair and that he was in fact a very good dentist and that the work he did on Ms. Fuqua was done quite well under the circumstances, i.e. her build.
