Kimberly Ann Bieker

Kim Bieker is an associate at Coffman & Campbell, LLC, an Osage and Coffey County law firm that concentrates in the areas of family law, criminal defense, probate/estate planning, and oil and gas law. Kim practices predominantly in the area of family law. She is an experienced trial attorney and family law attorney. During the last seven years of practice, Kim has litigated and participated in hundreds of cases, including a recent victory in 2014, in which she successfully argued to the Kansas Court of Appeals that the judgment she obtained for her client at the trial court was correct.

Kim has tried contested matters involving divorce; paternity; child custody; residency; child support; parenting time modifications; alimony; division of debts and assets; child in need of care; and protection from abuse or stalking orders. She has tried these cases in Shawnee, Osage, Jefferson, Jackson, Wabaunsee, and Coffey counties, as well as cases in the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation District Court in Mayetta, KS.

In 2014, Kim took a seat on the local advisory board for the Kansas Legal Services' office in Topeka, KS. This Board is charged with oversight of the Topeka office of Kansas Legal Services. Kansas Legal Services is a law firm dedicated to providing legal assistance to individuals who may have otherwise been excluded from the protections of our judicial system. Kim has been and continues to be a supporter of Kansas Legal Services and competent, effective representation for every person. After completing law school in 2007, Kim began her legal career as a staff attorney at the Kansas Legal Services Topeka office. At this position, Kim advised and litigated over 1,600 cases.

Kim is an active member of the Kansas Women Attorney's Association, Washburn Women's Alliance, Kansas Bar Association, and Topeka Bar Association. She also volunteers weekly at Stormont Vail Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Outside of professional interests, she enjoys living with her two dogs and attending as many KU basketball games as she can.
