Richard E Gier

Rick worked for several years in small and medium-sized service and manufacturing businesses before attending law school. His goal was to use his business education and experience to assist small businesses in the Kansas City area with business and legal issues. After over five years with a Kansas City, Missouri law firm, Rick started his own firm in September, 2003. Because Rick worked several years in the “real world”, he looks at things differently than most attorneys. His business education and experience allow him to understand more than just the law, but also how his clients operate. He is a small business owner himself and is sensitive to the issues facing a small business.

He has actively supported the small business comunity in the Kansas City area, including speaking two to three times a month to groups of entreprenuers and small business owners.
