With over 40 years of legal experience helping individuals, families and small businesses, my mantra is "problem-solve for the client". Experience counts here--both in advising clients on how to avoid legal problems or advocating for clients already facing legal issues. Devising creative, practical and cost-efficient ways to counsel clients or resolve their disputes is one of my major strengths. However, if a client's case can only be resolved through a trial by judge or jury, I stand ready for the task with substantial trial experience under my belt, including four years as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Jackson County, Missouri.
I have earned an AV 5 Star Peer Review Rated ranking (the highest possible) by Martinedale-Hubbell, the preeminent attorney rating service in the country.
My areas of practice include auto accidents, personal injury, estate planning, probate, family law (divorces, modifications and enforcement, and pre-marital agreements), real estate, business formation and counseling, and traffic offenses.
My business model for my own practice is that clients should pay for knowledge and experience, not for a lawyer's expensive overhead. And that's why my fees are always fair and reasonable and below market-rate for similarly experienced attorneys.
If I can help you with your legal questions or problems, please do give me a call! And if I can help you in that phone call, there is never a charge.
Sincerely,
Mark L. Willens
