Biography
Thomas R. Fields received a Bachelor or Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1986 with a dual major in Spanish and Political Science and his Juris Doctor from Washburn University of Topeka School of Law in 1989. Mr. Fields has a bilingual English and Spanish law practice consisting mainly of workers compensation claims, criminal cases and personal injury claims throughout the states of Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Fields has been representing the Hispanic community in both Kansas and Missouri since 1991.
Spanish speaking clients comprise about ninety percent of Mr. Fields practice. His interests and activities include: his family; golf; tennis; cooking; his church (Country Club Congregational United Church of Christ); Member of the Wyandotte County Bar Association; Member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (being active on the Workers Compensation, Criminal and Municipal Court committees); Member of the Missouri Bar; Member of the Kansas Bar; Member of the Kansas City Hispanic Bar Association and Member of the Kansas Association for Justice formerly known as the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.
