Andrew Lee Bolton

Andrew L. Bolton is the founding member of The Bolton Law Firm, LLC. Andy was born and raised in Fort Scott, Kansas, and graduated from Pittsburg State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Andy went on to attend the Notre Dame Law School, in Notre Dame, Indiana, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2006. With over a decade of legal experience, Andy was previously a partner at Petefish, Immel, Heeb & Hird, LLP, a well-respected law firm in Lawrence, Kansas, and has managed The Bolton Law Firm, LLC, since 2012.

Andy is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, as well as the Johnson, Crawford, and Bourbon County Bar Associations, and has years of experience practicing family and criminal law throughout courts in eastern Kansas. Andy was a member of the Family Law Guidelines Committed of the Douglas County Bar Association, which drafted the Douglas County Family Law Guidelines used in Douglas County, Kansas. While in private practice, Andy has served on felony appointment panels in Douglas, Crawford, and Bourbon counties, and currently serves on the Child in Need of Care panel in Bourbon County District Court representing parents and children. Andy previously operated the Student Legal Services office at Pittsburg State University, his alma mater, which offers students access to an array of legal resources to assist them in their legal matters.

Andy is licensed to practice law in Kansas, as well as the Federal District Court of Kansas.
