Helping familes plan their legacy, create and manage businesses, and solve family and elder law issues.
I am a estate planner and civil litigator in private practice and a trial advocacy undergraduate and law school faculty member. I specialize in estate planning and probate, wills and trusts, and wills and trust litigation. I work on publications mostly surrounding trial issues and property law.
I graudated from Washburn Law School, earning a special Certificate in Advocacy and being inclucted into the Order of Barristers--a national advocacy honorary. While in law school, I served as a researcher for my property law professor, as well as a policy researcher for the chair of the judiciary committee in the Kansas State Legislature.

Ben Long
Ben is fantastic, thorough, and as smart as they come. He has helped me understand the legal process on a variety of issues.
"I've worked with Ben as an attorney and as a Trial Instructor at the law school. I've seen first hand his ability to analyze a situation, then apply the appropriate litigation strategy both "on the fly" and from his office."
"I have known Ben for years. In the past, when I needed to hire another attorney in his area, he was the first person I called."
"I wholeheartedly endorse Ben to anyone looking for help with a probate matter. He is a skilled writer, knowledgeable about the law, and one of the most gracious, friendly people I know. That said, if a matter must be resolved in court, Ben is a force to be reckoned with and should not be underestimated. Ben and I have worked on some cases together, so I have experienced first-hand that it is far better to be working with Ben than against him."
