Biography

Kristin Arriaga knows from personal experience the role that a compassionate lawyer can play in a family law matter. Kristin graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May 2023. While in law school, she served in many roles including as the Founder and President of Parents and Caregivers Attending Law School, the President of the Public Interest Law Society, and as a representative for the Juvenile and Family Law Association. Before law school, Kristin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. Kristin is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
Kristin Previously worked at the Stange Law Firm, PC, and before that worked as a Law Clerk for a law firm in Crystal Lake, IL, working primarily with family law, civil real estate disputes, and trust and estate matters. In this role she assisted with drafting motions, petitions, responses, and discovery in connection with family law matters. She also gained experience with drafting documents connected to all stages of litigation, as well as drafted trusts, wills, and estate plans. While in law school, she also worked as a Legal Intern for Los Angeles County General Counsel and Prairie State Legal Services, and as a Judicial Extern for the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Kristin looks forward to utilizing her legal skills and personal experience to better understand her clients and help them rebuild their lives.
In her free-time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies and TV. Her favorite movie is Erin Brockovich and her favorite TV shows are The Challenge, Big Brother, and Survivor.
