After decades of representing clients, primarily in real estate matters, my focus has shifited to mediation of disputes. My primary interests as a lawyer have involved sales of businesses, property tax contests, natural resources, commercial real estate, lending transactions, and local government. I am not taking new litigation cases, but am interested in meditating real estate and business disputes.
My firm works on complicated problems involving troubled real estate projects, including several timeshare projects. We have a lot of experience working for developers, lenders and municipalities on issues related to land use and infrastructure. We have prepared declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions for more than 100 subdivisions and more than 40 condominiums. Our primary service area is the part of Missouri south and west of Springfield, including Branson, Springfield, the Table Rock Lake area and Joplin and Neosho.
Through my blog, Ozarks Law & Economy, I present information about how court decisions and legislation affect life and business in the Ozarks.
For several years, I was the program chair for the Missouri Bar's Annual Real Estate Institute, which is a continuing education program for lawyers. I have spoken on many real estate law topics--condominium law, easements, zoning, and laws relating to streams and lakes, for example. I am a past chair of the Property Law committee of the Missouri Bar Association.
I am often requested to speak at professional meetings. In 2016, I spoke to the Christian County Bar Association on legal ethics and practice management and to the Missouri State Assessors Association about interpretation of difficult real estate deeds. I have spoken multiple times to the Missouri Association of Professional Surveyors.

Review of Harry Styron
I was referred to Harry by an attorney / personal friend who had utilized his services in doing some real estate / condo business. My needs were related to the same general topic but more complex. I am located out of state and have never had the pleasure of a face to face, but throughout the proces...
"Harry is a fantastic attorney. I love working with Harry because he will not waste my time, the court's time, nor his client's money. Harry is the kind of attorney that gets down to business and addresses the relevant legal issues at hand. Harry is a fine example of how an attorney should advocate for his client."
"Harry knows real estate law backwards and forwards. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet also."
"I endorse this lawyer. Harry Styron is a great lawyer and an outstanding person. You cannot go wrong hiring him."
