Enrique Milla, 60 had an elective penile implant procedure performed at Coral Gables Hospital by Dr. Paul Perito (surgeon) and Dr. Laurentiu Boeru (anesthesiologist). Following the procedure Mr. Mill ... a developed an infection that resulted in the amputation of his penis. The case against the surgeon was settled before trial. The case against the anesthesiologist went to verdict. Mr. Milla who was deported appeared via Skype. Plaintiff's expert did not appear at trial. With pending motions for a new trial the case was resolved and the matter dismissed by the Plaintiff.
