We successfully vacated her conviction on grounds of ineffective assistance of prior counsel and eliminated her conviction for a aggravated felony. Client was then convicted of three counts of first degree arson with sentence of 364 days, a conviction which would not result in deportation. Her deportation proceedings were dismissed, she was released from detention, and is looking forward to applying for citizenship.
