I was pulled over for speeding and the officer said he smelled alcohol. He arrested me after only blowing a .088. It was devastating. I'm a 39 year old professional and never had anything remotely like this happen to me. Bogdan managed to not only plea down my DWI to a speeding ticket, but what I was... told was usually rarely accomplished and get my DMV admin charge taken away due to him catching an error. No losing my driver's license was huge and that coupled with the DWI only being a ticket...incredible!!! Thank you!!

I was referred to Bogdan Susan by a friend who said he was the best attorney in town. I had just received a 2nd DWI, my first one was over 20 years ago. Because of that I did not think the process would be too involved, but I wanted to make sure I was using someone who was experienced and I was told ...by several people that Mr. Susan was the best. My case was unusual in that I had the previous DWI so long ago, and that I have a career that would be effected by some of the unintended consequences of a conviction. The greatest benefit of using someone with such experience is that he offered me options. He thought "out of the box" to work with my unique situation so that I would not suffer the stigma of a DWI conviction within my profession. He was very patient in working with the questions I had and making sure that I was well informed and comfortable with the process and direction we were going. I felt confident that he was doing everything he could in my best interest. Also, his staff was well informed, knowledgeable and responsive so I could get any concerns addressed quickly. There are quite a few attorneys out there, but it is well worth your time to find the right one, one with the experience to educate you on the process and explore all the options.

After doing extensive research with friends and past MU Alums, I decided to hire Bogdan. Generally, he has a great reputation in the Columbia area. Maybe my charge was harder for him to "knock-down" than i expected, but I have heard of similar MISDEMEANOR cases with a much lesser harsh result. Bogdan... handled himself with a lack of integrity & professionalism. Disappointing because I paid Top-Dollar. After taking my money,Bogdan;1) Pushed my court dates back more than five times (didn't ask for it, didn't want it pushed back 9 months) 2) on most occasions, failed to return my phone calls and E-mails. 3) Arrived to the courthouse very late, very unorganized, and said absolutely nothing to the judge that i couldn't have said myself. 4) settled for a terrible plea in which I for some reason agreed to plea guilty; meaning my record is forever tarnished (although it's a misdemeanor without conviction). I Had to do a few days of Jail time & Multiple years of supervised probation. His performance in the court room was a joke and I strongly feel he coerced me to accept the plea bargain so that his work would be finished. Before court, he acted as if everything would go smoothly and I would go without a tarnished record. I Had no idea jail time was even on the table. (I have no previous record of any kind) So when the judge gives me time to think about taking the plea bargain I; panic, listen to my lawyer, and take the plea bargain. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I think about this every day and it's years after the fact. Still haven't a decent job . Even though this guy is supposedly good at dealing with Traffic, MIP, and other related charges, he handled my case like a nub. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE HIRING BOGDAN AS A CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER. I hate this guy. Definition of a big, tall, grease-ball rat lawyer. (But he does seem like a pretty decent dude outside his practice)
