After 6 months of foolishness with a non-responsive attorney elsewhere, Mr Barrett stepped in and took charge. He handled my expungement in short order. I hired David roughly 2 years ago to help me with expunging some old arrests and he did an absolutely incredible job. The best part of my experience with David was that he is an attorney that actually answers my phone calls, is very easy to get in touch with, very friendly and easy to talk to. I real...ly feel like David beat the odds as my expungement was actually and "rarely" opposed by the attorney generals office of the state of Missouri. Despite this and many other set backs he successfully came through on each and every expungement in total winning 3 for 3. In Missouri there are literally few if any attorneys through out the state that specialize or have experience in expungement law as it is such a newer statute. However David is very knowledgeable and experienced in not just the law but in reasoning and speaking with the judges and prosecutors in a way that helps them push the expungement through. If you meet David you will instantly like the guy and I think that is a huge strength in his ability to win cases and influence judges in difficult matters that could easily go either way. If your looking for an excellent attorney David Barrett is your man. Last but not least I can honestly say that my life is forever changed for the better because of Davids hard work and skill as an attorney. If it were not for David I would still have some serious embarrassing arrests on my record that would prevent me from working in the finance industry which is highly regulated. As a result of my cases being expunged I can now enjoy peace of mind knowing that some decade old youthful indiscretions are forever behind me.
