very helpful and fair

i met this lawyer as the prosecuting attorney for a charge of marijuana possession that i received. (First offense, no priors) My very expensive lawyer dodged my calls and postponed my case numerous times. But Mr Jones was always helpful and fair to me. I asked him questions and he always answered... them. My lawyer was just fine with a 7 day jail sentence recommended by the previous prosecutor. I pushed my lawyer to ask for that to be reduced and Mr Jones reduced it to probation. So much more helpful to me than my own attorney. That shows a great deal of fairness and class. I would recommend this guy for any legal matter. Just an all around great guy and a super lawyer.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
