William Michael Quitmeier

William M. Quitmeier brings a practical, community-focused approach to his work as an attorney, backed by decades of leadership and teaching experience. He has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor of environmental law at Park University and as an instructor in business law at Metropolitan Community Colleges, and he frequently presents continuing legal education programs on real estate law, contracts, and ethical considerations for real estate lawyers. Mr. Quitmeier is widely involved in the community he serves, with current roles that include membership on the Park Board of the City of Weatherby Lake and the Parkville Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as a Parkville alderman and later as Mayor of Parkville for more than a decade, from 1991 to 2002. He also helped establish the Platte County Land Trust and has contributed his time to charitable and regional planning efforts. Mr. Quitmeier is licensed as a Missouri real estate broker and maintains active membership in the Missouri Bar Association, as well as the Platte, Clay, and Kansas City bar associations.
