Shannon Alford Sorensen

Shannon is possible one of the worst people I have encountered in my custody battle. Besides the fact that she picked a side based off of which parent paid her first, she has help to make my already traumatic custody experience even worse. She was appointed to our case awhile ago. One of her main foc...uses is suppose to be the child but in actuality she pays little attention to the child's wants or needs. She failed to tell the truth on more than one occasion when responding to both parties lawyers and attempted to justify herself when she was caught in lies. I would not recommend her at all. One positive thing about her is that when she tells you that she doesn't like you but has no facts to go on...believe her, she will not like you no matter how much right you do. She will make sure that everything good you try to do is used against you in court and make you out to be something that you are not. If your spouse is a fellow lawyer, or you're a stay at home parent, just consider your case lost because there must be some sort of unwritten rule that they stick together no matter what, even when in the wrong.
