Phillip Reed Martens

Reed Martens is a Kansas City trial attorney and shareholder with Monsees & Mayer, P.C., representing survivors of sexual abuse and victims of catastrophic injury throughout Missouri and Kansas. With offices in Kansas City, Springfield, Branson, and St. Joseph, Reed advocates for individuals and families facing devastating injuries and traumatic losses caused by negligence, abuse, and institutional failure.

A substantial portion of Reed’s practice is dedicated to representing survivors of child sexual abuse, boarding school abuse, church abuse, camp abuse, abuse in the home, physician-patient abuse, and institutional negligence claims. He is passionate about helping survivors pursue accountability against schools, churches, camps, organizations, and other institutions that failed to protect children and vulnerable individuals.

Reed also represents victims in serious car accidents, truck accidents, catastrophic injury claims, product liability claims, and wrongful death cases involving life-changing injuries and fatal crashes. Known for aggressive courtroom advocacy and compassionate and trauma-informed client representation, Reed works tirelessly to help injury victims and survivors pursue justice, accountability, and full financial recovery.
