I got injured on the job and hired Mikes Law Firm at first I thought they were all about me until I received my Workman's Comp Settlement that I had no idea I had to pay back from my personal injury settlement. I had not a clue because the lawyers didn't explain to me about a law in Missouri to where... you will have to pay Workmans Comp back if your lawyer sues another insurance company on your behalf even though you were hurt on the job. Because you can't get paid twice!! I never would of took the workmans comp money if I would of been informed of this clause everyone knew about except me!! I had to pay the lawyer twice once for the workmans comp settlement (in which I had to pay the lawyers portion back along with mine) then I had to pay them 14 G's and I received a check for a little over 10 G's. I would recommend these lawyers but I also recommend that you ask questions and just don't put your trust in the hands of anyone like I did because in the end you will be upset and have to write a review like this because they could have been honest in the very beginning instead of doing what they did! It was a blessing that was a very hard lesson!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a legal office. They switched me between 4 different attorneys and forgot about me for months. They don’t take responsibility for the actions of their legal assistants, and when they do, they just apologize but still leave you with thousands of dollars in debt, Ada...m Brillhart was supposed to be in contact with me several times but he never reaches out to communicate unless I keep asking another attorney to have him contact me. He said they would be refunding me part of the money they took, but is ignoring me now. This is supposed to be someone in charge but I was told he called and my voicemail was full, but I received no call. He has my email but didn’t email. He wouldn’t respond when I asked if they treat all of their clients this way. My first attorney quit and I was communicating with her assistant for months with no reply, to find out they switched me to the second, who then was fired because she wasn’t doing her job well either. The third attorney Hyemin was the rudest attorney I’ve ever met. She would constantly cut me off as I was speaking, and seemed like my case was such a bother to her. The fourth attorney received all the information about my case just the night before was had court. Aaron LaPlante was the best out of all of them with his caring nature, but he didn’t know everything we had been going through with the case for the last year. Overall, it was legal malpractice at best. Don’t let them tell you to get an evaluation because they will just charge you $700 on your owed money to them, even if it wasn’t any help to the case. They took a large amount for their fee, when I’m stuck with medical debt because of their misguidance. It’s going to be close to 2 years before I get this all resolved, but after pointing out everything, getting an apology for their mistakes, they still don’t want to actually do the right thing. [email protected] please respond. I’m making a trip all the way from Saint Louis to Kansas City so I can actually speak with this supervisor. It’s sad that they don’t want to refund me the money they took for everything they did horribly with, and refuse to help with the thousands in medical debt they advised me to obtain. Their attorneys don’t even last long there it seems, this should be a sign that their client care is also lacking.

I hired DiPasquale and Moore to handle a wreck that I was in in February 2024. They were quick to get me to sign a contract and said they would handle it. We gave them all the info we had about our claim. Then we did not hear anything for 3 months. I called and left 7 messages for them to contact me... and they did not. I drove an hour to their office and waited for 30 minutes for the lawyer they assigned to me to come down and meet with me. Jacob apologized and said he was on it and he would contact me every 2 weeks to update me on our case. 45 days later and 6 messages later, I again drove to their office just to be told NOONE was there that could talk to me. The next day they called and said they was able to get info from the other insurance company and they agreed to settle my mom's and my brother's case. They then said it would be 10 days to recieve the check and another 10 days for it to clear. On the date it was to be ready, I called and was sent to voicemail. AGAIN I left 6 messages before they returned my call and said they have not received it yet. (WHAT)? It was another 30 days before we were told the check was ready. During that time they said my wife's check would be there also. She went to the office to pick up 3 checks and was told hers was not there. This is now August and we started this in February. It took another 30 days to get hers. Now to my case. They told me in July that the insurance settled my claim for the full amount. Great, this is January and I still have not got a penny. By the way, we paid all of our Dr. bills out of our pocket because they were being sent to collections. We told them that we were be represented by a law firm, and they did not care. I left 6 messages over the last 2 weeks and did not hear a word until I left a bad review. Then I got a call at 6:30 pm to tell me that the letter they were waiting for just arrived THAT day. Really? They told me in October that they sent this letter, and amazingly enough it arrived the very day I put out a review. I have never worked with a law firm before. And I hope to never have to again. But if I do, I will not call this one back.
