I have known Ben since 1990 when he was an associate with a large insurance defense firm. As an associate he did much of the work on cases that had been assigned to partners. Eventually I requested that he personally be assigned the case and when he left the firm my cases went with him. For several m...ore years it was my pleasure to work with Ben, and he handled a substantial amount of litigation for my company. Regrettably when I went to work for another company I was not able to work with Ben very often as my company used staff counsel. We still met on occasions and enjoyed those contacts because I never felt I was being pursued as another client. Now Ben is doing plaintiff work for injured parties, and I can say in all sincerity if I knew someone in need of legal services I would recommend them to Ben without hesitation. My only regret is that now he handling plaintiff work I will not be able to work with him. But I will still enjoy our occasional lunches.
