I am an attorney because I am passionate about the role of law in improving the individual and collective lives of the members of our society.  With a law license, one has countless rights, and with them, serious responsibilities.  So much of life's conflicts are due to the polarization of individuals--the focus on our differences:  Christian or Muslim, Gay or Straight, Rich or Poor . . . the list goes on.  Instead, the rule of law and its practice can soften those differences and instead, serve to focus on our commonalities--the things that unite us as people in this world.

The often combativeness of the practice of law can be intellectually stimulating and emotionally fulfilling--but the focus must be on the impact it has on the lives of our clients and those around us.  This is where the ethics of each individual attorney must be be engaged and managed to serve our purpose in this role, rather than in feathering our individuals needs, legitimate or otherwise.

There is much wonderful about life in our world, yet there is so much pain and unfairness.  Each of us much choose for ourselves whether we are going to contribute to the conflict, or to the solutions.  The consideration of this opportunity is what I hope governs each decision I make each day.

Mr.
I give Robert Haupt my highest recommendation. He is client focused, extremely knowledgeable, and cost conscious. I have worked with him on numerous legal issues when he was hired by the firm I previously worked at as well as hiring him for personal matters.

Consistent professional. Highly Recommended
Bob, I would like to express my gratitude to you for all the care and concern you have always shown us over the years, and for working tirelessly to ensure the law works in our favor. Your professional expertise, support and guidance represent only a fraction of your real value. Your critical analysis of details relating to whatever situation we bring you – whether business related or personal – are always treated equally by you. You possess the unique ability to understand whatever we drop at your feet is HUGE for us. You never treat us like we are “David” in a “Goliath” world. You have handled a myriad of matters on our behalf – always brilliantly. And you have given me the courage and confidence to stand strong. Now as I face more personal challenges in addition to a continuing expanding company, I am even more grateful for our affiliation. I really appreciate your negotiating skills and advice on every matter. I am so grateful to have you by my side. Thank you for always informing me of the best option to take in resolving my issues. Your attention to detail greatly reduces my stress and hopefully makes me a better client. I cannot thank you enough for your assistance, time, and effort. I wish you continued success in your practice. I would not hesitate to recommend you to any friends or family members looking for an experienced attorney.

Appreciation and Gratitude
Mr. Haupt is an amazing attorney, boss, and friend to have. I consulted him in few legal matters that concerned me personally. He has guided me through them. Also, he is a genuine kind person who I love running into all the time. He is super respectful, in fact, I have hardly met someone like him. There is no words that I can describe my appreciation and gratitude for Mr. Haupt. My review is based on my professional relationship with Mr. Haupt. He has excelled in being a brilliant attorney and citizen.

Great work
Bob represented my company in a complex insurance matter involving significant exposure. The matter involved a multi-year and heavily litigated dispute. I could not have been more pleased with both the resolution and with the manner by which the work was done. Thanks!

Exceeded Expectations on A Difficult Corporate Case
Our company was at risk of serious legal action by a large NYC Corporation. I retained Bob because of his smarts and reputation. In spite of an aggressive timetable to respond to the opposing counsel, he was able to immediately reach out by phone to determine if the matter could be resolved quickly without running up hours of expensive fees. I've never had an attorney that was so proactive in communicating with me and was attentive to respond to time sensitive matters swiftly. Thanks to Bob and his team at NLLG they resolved our case ahead of schedule and without unnecessary hours billed against our legal matter.
