Eric Donald Sidler

Eric Sidler is a litigation attorney focused primarily on intellectual property (IP) litigation. In his intellectual property litigation practice, Mr. Sidler represents companies in a wide variety of industries in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, unfair competition, and false advertising disputes in federal courts throughout the United States.  

In addition to his IP litigation experience, Mr. Sidler also has experience litigating a variety of non-IP disputes on behalf of corporate and individual clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings—including insurance coverage, employment, construction, breach of contract, and business tort disputes. Mr. Sidler's non-IP litigation experience includes representing a major liability insurer in third-party liability insurance coverage disputes in federal and state courts throughout the United States. 

Mr. Sidler earned his law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class, earning him high honors and induction into the Order of the Coif.  While at GW Law, Mr. Sidler served as the Executive Managing Editor of The George Washington International Law Review.

Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Sidler worked as a litigation associate at law firms in Minneapolis and Washington, D.C.  He also served as a law clerk to Judge Lynn J. Bush of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
