Craig S. O'Dear

Representing high profile clients in cases nationwide, Craig O'Dear has been a partner with Bryan Cave LLP, for nearly three decades. He handles a wide range of cases in areas such as antitrust law violations and has been singled out by Lawdragon Magazine as one of its “Top 500 Leading Litigators in America.” Craig O'Dear’s areas of extensive knowledge include product liability malpractice and negligent tax advice, and he has also handled real estate fraud cases.

Mr. O'Dear’s career as a trial lawyer extends to 1983 when, in his second year as a Stinson, Mag & Fizzell associate, he took on a role as solo counsel representing the Hyatt Skywalk defendants. The $1.5 million case involved the collapse of the Hyatt Regency skywalk and claims of emotional distress. This successful result established Mr. O'Dear’s effectiveness in high pressure jury trial situations, and he subsequently took on a number of complex commercial litigation cases.
