Nope. Get an I.D. card from the DOR. I can't promise you won't get arrested with a pending warrant.

Yes. If he does not go to Court the court will issue a warrant. If he never gets arrested (usually within a few months) the Court will FORFEIT...

You're gonna need to spend some money on a lawyer, because what you want - doesn't happen very often.

You're not going to jail in StL for a "speeding" ticket while on probation. Since you're working, if you're worried, get a lawyer, problem solved.

You'll be convicted of both offenses and will get points on your license. If you get a lawyer you'll get a better deal.

If it's a public defender he will get the same one. If you hired the lawyer then you have to make a new deal with that lawyer.
