Biography
I have a general civil trial and appellate practice. Much of my civil litigation has dealt with complex wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice and commercial dispute matters. I also have experience working with corporate formation, contract negotiation and real estate matters. After receiving my Juris Doctor Degree, I joined a downtown Kansas City law firm where I focused primarily on insurance defense work. My practice has steadily evolved from insurance defense into a strong and successful plaintiff’s practice.
In addition to representing individuals I have continued to represent small businesses in defense of claims with a winning trial record. I am able to stay with my clients to the end of the litigation process and have experienced great success in both the state and federal courts of appeals.
I joined Withers, Brant, Igoe and Mullennix, P.C. in 2003 and continue to be an advocate for those in need of help.
