M. Andrew Roffmann

From Day 1, my experience with The Roffmann Law Office did not match the high praise I had seen online (go look at a site that starts with “Y” and rhymes with “help”). Throughout our interactions, I felt condescended to and patronized. They seemed to operate on the assumption that I already understoo...d the complexities of the law and the legal process, despite me explicitly stating that I did not. Communication and guidance were incredibly lacking. For example, I would answer questions to the best of my ability and with complete honesty, only to find out months later that those specific responses carried massive, devastating legal consequences. Instead of preparing me or explaining the weight of these questions beforehand, the firm essentially threw their hands up and claimed nothing could be done because of how I answered. It left me wondering why they even agreed to take my case in the first place if they weren't going to actively guide me through it. In my opinion, there was a severe disregard for me as a client, for my specific situation, and for the actual content of my case. My instincts told me to find a different firm early on, and I deeply regret not listening to my gut. This firm was easily the most difficult part of my legal process. I cannot recommend their services.

Working with this attorney was quite the hassle. Prior to hiring Andy Myself and the other party had done all the work as far as separating assets and creating a parenting plan. We had agreed upon all things and simply needed to have an attorney do the filing for us. Andy and his office were very uno...rganized, lacked communication, and dismissive. I had to reach out several times to get each step of the process done. If I had not of stayed on top of the office staff my divorce would still be pending. There is no reason other than the office was dragging their feet completing tasks that my divorce should have taken 5 months. Andy had gone out of town at one point and I as his client was never notified that he would be out of the office until I had called for yet another update. Then Kara his paralegal went out of town another time and was unable to complete tasks. Again I was never notified that there would be a delay due to her being out of the office until I called the office.
