Disbarred for following client's instructions

This is in response to the one previous review. I was instructed by the father of the previous reviewer not to distribute money to her or her uncle because they were not trustworthy. Client did not execute a will or trust because he could not decide on a personal representative or trustee, even thoug...h documents were drafted for him. Also, the client had not paid income taxes for over 5 years. Money has been withheld to satisfy tax debt. Previous reviewer and her uncle (administrator of client's estate are attempting to avoid paying taxes.

Stole all my dads money from his trust fund

He is now disbarred so you need not worry about it. He's disbarred because he stole money from my fathers trust fund and put it in his and his business' bank accounts, he then tried to cover it up claiming my father had given him permission. This was easily proved to be false and his records forged.... Be careful when choosing a lawyer, I am currently waiting for the estate to be settled, this happend in 2008, it is currently march 2014 and I'm still dealing with my fathers death because of this man.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
