Susan Renee Warren

In Dec. 2012 I hired her to represent me in a divorce and custody case. I paid her in full 3,000 dollars this was her price. Since that time I had at least 9 court appearances she never showed for a single one she only made excuses. she never returned my many phone calls, she never represented me in ...court finally in August of this year 2013 I left her a message stating that i wish to fire her. So she shows up to my last appearance and i fired her. she stated that she would be reimbursing me some money form the initial 3,000 that she was paid she stated that she did have some time in on the case and would deduct her time from the 3,000 and send me the remaining balance. Well it is now 9/28/13 and to this day no refund and she still does not return my phone calls. She has had 45 days to refund my money and has not done so and dont expect she will do the right thing. so if poor representation and no contact and theft of your money is what you want from an attny. then Susan R. Warren is the one for you. I also know that she does not employee full time time staff in her office usually one day a week is all that any one is there to answer the phones and they are interns no one with any real knowledge of what they are doing. No offence to the employees they are great people and cant help the way there boss is i feel sorry for them. because as one of them stated to me she said that I was not the only one she was doing this to the young lady stated that there were several clients that were being done the same way. Susan taking there money and not doing any thing on there case and not returning there phone calls. Because of susans lack of representing me I lost every motion in every hearing for almost a year I lost my children who were left with me in the beginning and this should have been so easy for her to win but when she doesnt show for court you dont have a voice in court. I would not recommend her to anyone unless they want to just give money away for nothing.

I contacted Ms. Warren and provided a brief description of the issues I needed help with. We agreed to meet on a day she was in my hometown on another case she was working on. She agreed to contact me when it was convenient to meet, but I never received a call. I contacted Mr. Warren's office several... times to inquire about meeting with her. I left at least two voice messages, along with three or four messages with whoever was answering her office phone; Ms. Warren never returned a call. I found this not only personally inconsiderate, but completely unprofessional. I also contacted the attorney that referred Ms. Warren to me, and that attorney indicated she too was surprised with that behavior. I can certainly understand an attorney deciding not to offer services, for whatever reasons they may have, but to refuse to contact me to say they would not be able to meet as we agreed and then ignore all my calls indicates a very low level of professional conduct and a deficient sense of common courtesy.
