Patrick Roy Douglas

PATRICK R. DOUGLAS graduated Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where he earned a B.S.Ed. in 1999. He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2002. While in law school, he was Editor In Chief of the Missouri Environmental Law and Policy Review 2001 2002, where he was also twice published as an author. Patrick served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lewis M. Blanton, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri, from 2002-2004. Patrick is a member of the Missouri Bar, and is admitted to practice in all Missouri Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and in the Supreme Court of the United States. Patrick is a former President of the Sikeston Jaycees and is a former President of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Association Inc.’s Board of Directors. Patrick also serves on the Southeast Missouri State University-Sikeston Advisory Council, and the Department of Public Safety Advisory Board for the City of Sikeston, Missouri. Patrick was recently named an Oustanding Young Missourian by the Missouri Jaycees, and received the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce Jaycee Distinguished Service Award. Specialties: Patrick has litigated extensively in both State and Federal Courts in Missouri, and across the region. Patrick practices primarily in commercial litigation, personal injury, general defense, medical malpractice defense, and bankruptcy.
