Husband had surgery, lowering household income for a long period of time. John and Tammy had chapter 13 while John was healing after a bad surgery. They could not afford to maintain the chapter 13 pa ... yments so we put them into a chapter 7 (walkaway). They discharged their unsecured debts but owed over $35,000 in mortgage arrears. We modified the terms of their mortgage in the midst of COVID confusion so that they are only paying their usual monthly payment.
