She was affordable compared to other lawyers, great communication, and not only won my case but did so in a short few months. She expedited this in a timely manner. Her assistant, Amanda was very helpful too. They return calls or email right away. Kim is knowledgeable, funny, open minded, and car...ing. Two thumbs up :)

I hired her for a paternity case that was uncontested and she wrote up an agreement that can't even be enforced according to department of child services. The cost for this uncontested case was double the retainer fee when it was all said and done. She couldn't even answer any questions without askin...g her bosses first which took time and more money. Representing yourself would be more favorable than hiring her.

I hired Kim Tomko as my divorce attorney. My husband and I had already agreed upon everything, and had a very straightforward case. All that was needed was an attorney to write up the paperwork etc. Writing up the paperwork took months, I only found out it was ready after contacting her and asking wh...at was taking so long. Responses to the very few questions I asked took days, if I received a response at all. Her fees went beyond our retainer, which I found shocking since our case did not take much work. Kim was not very personable during the few meetings we had. I DEFINITELY would not recommend her to anyone seeking an attorney.

Kimberly Tomko is not a good attorney! Nothing she said happened the way she said it would, every time I talked to her she told me something different, I had to use casenet to really know what was going on with my court case and she drug the court case out way longer then she said it would be, causin...g more attorney fees and she went to court unprepared. I do not recommend this attorney. She cost me more in attorney fees then I even recovered from my case. Which in my opinion should have not even been possible. If an attorney is going to go to court and ask that the other party pays your attorney fees then you would think she would at least know how much she had charged in attorney fees but she didn't and asked for the wrong amount. I had to tell her that I paid her almost double what she told the judge and when I brought it to her attention she blamed her secretary for it instead of taking the responsibility. I also found it strange that when she gave the judge the wrong amount for attorney's fees that she didn't catch it. It seemed to correct to her. If my fees were typical then I would think she would have immediately noticed the amount was too low. I feel I was incredibly overcharged and even after all this she had the nerve to send me another large invoice and threaten to sue me for the payment. I would have been much better off not hiring an attorney!!!
