After many failed attempts with other lawyers, we finally found Stange Law Firm. The first lawyer we hired through Stange, left us without an explanation in the middle of a case. We had no idea why. We then got a phone call from a man who has saved our world! Chad Hagar called us from the firm statin...g he was replacing our other lawyer for unexplained reasoning. At first, of course, I was skeptical because I had no idea that this man wasn’t gunna do the same thing that the previous lawyer had done to us. But it’s a chance every desperate mother is willing to make for custody of her child in the middle of a case. Chad has been the most helpful, most amazing lawyer we could’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! He always explains everything going on, he has never shown up to court late, he is flexible & he fights for what you want! I know that, without a doubt, without Chad we wouldn’t be where we are right now with our ever-so-drug-out case. Would never consider another lawyer, ever.

I am a good, but broke father, stripped of his rights early on from a "mother" loving state. With proof that the mother of my child was abusing drugs, I sought to obtain full custody for my sweet daughter. Chad ran me dry for two years (And don't think that because hearings kept getting postponed a...nd such because of covid, that the charges Chad came up with would lessen or altogether halt) just to drop me as a client. I ended up applying for assistance through Legal Aid. I paid NOTHING, and have my daughter in a safe and loving home now. Best of luck.

I hired Stange Law after reading the good reviews. OOPS! I dont believe a SINGLE good review anymore! Ive personally witnessed first hand 3 bad experiences. Chad will CHARGE CHARGE CHARGE getting absolutely ZERO results. He will bill you for EVERYTHING. "Free consultation" ends at 30 mins, and you'll... be charged 30 mins for signing on with him. DONT DO IT! Unless you have an unlimited supply of funds, and in that case, get yourself a lion, not this EXTREMELY timid, non-aggressive guy. Expect to spend at LEAST $30k before he drops you because he WILL DROP YOU, typically right before trial. After bleeding you dry at bills in excess of $3k/ month, he will expect another $5k up front for trial and drop you when you cant come up with it. Heed our warnings, or you too, will be writing this review eating ramen noodles struggling to keep your water running. Positive: he will answer or return every email/phone call. But it'll cost you thousands. Chad and Casie combined will DESTROY any chance you ever had at being financially sound... seriously.

I chose the Stange law firm because it was the closest to my residence, there are probably good lawyers at the firm, but unfortunately I had a horrible experience with Chad Hager. The bills just kept coming in and after spending all of my money and maxing out all of my credit cards I got a letter tha...t he was dropping me, So after paying thousands of dollars for months I get dropped right before court and have no money for a new lawyer.

I blindly went to see an attorney with a firm in my general area. Big mistake. There might be good lawyers at this firm, but I got the lemon. Chad Hager serving up lemonade. Man, was this guy not interested in getting results, just getting billing time. He could not even get me $100.00 a month ...in child support when my soon to be ex was making 5 times what I make. The bills just kept coming and there was no visible results. I lost interest in paying, and I am sure you can see why. He told me he would have to drop me as a client, which was probably a God sent solution to getting a much better attorney. Seriously, this man does not care about results. If billing equaled results, he would be a rock star. I am just trying to warn you. He lives in Union, MO. and tries to be everything to everyone in Wentzville, St. Peters and O'Fallon, MO. Obviously does not know his way around St. Charles county. Man, what a mistake it was to hire him, but thankfully, he is only looking for plentiful wells to tap. Mine ran dry and did not get me any results. The next time around, I interviewed three attorneys and hope to have a better outcome. But what is better than nothing. Because other than an empty wallet, Chad Hager is the worst attorney. He is too timid. He only wants to put in the time, even if the time he puts in is inadequate.
