Brian Robert Lowry

Brian Robert Lowry is Deputy General Counsel for Monsanto Company and leads the Office of Law & Policy.  He and his team are responsible for key legal functions and public policy efforts including human rights, human resources and immigration; business conduct, ethics and anti-corruption; intellectual property policy; international trade policy, negotiations and compliance; multi-lateral undertakings and conventions and UN-related matters; and stakeholder and socially responsible investor engagement.  The principle author of Monsanto’s Human Rights Policy, he now chairs the company’s Human Rights Steering Committee and its Office of Sustainability.  Brian also co-chairs the USCIB working group on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Post-2015 Development Agenda and is the first board chair of the U.S. Local Network of the UN Global Compact
