Debra Schuster is the founder of Debra K. Schuster, P.C., a holistic, client-centered law firm, dedicated to assisting elderly and disabled individuals and their families with the complex legal and care challenges they face. Debbie Schuster is a native of Buffalo, New York and has lived in St. Louis, Missouri since 1985. Ms. Schuster did coursework at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor toward her B.A. in Physical Anthropology, received from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985. Ms. Schuster received her Master of Health Administration from Washington University in 1987 and her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University in 1991.
Ms. Schuster is a Partner Member of , a member of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Missouri End-of-Life Coalition, the Missouri Association of Attorney Mediators, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and is a Board Member of The Huntington Disease Society of America, St. Louis Chapter and the VNA of Greater St. Louis. She is a Past President of the Breakthrough Coalition, a multi-disciplinary group of senior care providers in the greater St. Louis region. She is the State Coordinator of , Missouri chapter; a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; and the Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations. Ms. Schuster is licensed and practices in Missouri and Illinois.
Ms. Schuster’s passion and confidence in Life Care Planning are borne from her very experiences. Her very personal connection to her work and dedication to seniors stems from caring for her grandfather. Additionally, she now experiences many of the challenges faced by her clients in being a caregiver and Attorney-in-Fact for her mother.
Ms. Schuster is a volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association, the St. Louis Chapter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill., The MS Society and various other groups. She has been a Board member for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, the Past Co-Chair of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’s Elder Law Committee and is a past Board Vice President of Operations for Memory Care Home Solutions. She is a frequent, enthusiastic speaker who provides her time free of charge to a variety of professional and public groups, in that she believes in educating and assisting individuals to self-advocate for their needs.
Debbie enjoys long-distance running, live music, singing, theater, movies, reading and cooking. She loves being with her friends and family. She has two sons, one who is law student at the University of Colorado, Boulder and the other who is a sophomore in engineering at Virginia Tech. Debbie currently has two cats, but is much more of a dog-lover!

She seemed nice , but then she just decided not to help me with my wife in the nursing home, I needed power if attorney and I have to pay her $400.00 for a 1 hour consultation, I believe this was a set up, in the end they decided they were not gonna help me with my 82 year old wife with Parkinson's l...
