Superior Knowledge, Assistance and Work

After a failed attempt with another Attorney we thankfully found Martha Brown! Her assistance, knowledge, understanding and subsequent work from her entire team was outstanding! At a terribly sensitive time, with my father gravely ill and my elderly mother not being comfortable with 25+ year old leg...al documents prepared by an estranged family members firm, Martha navigated a course that included several in person visits, emails and one on one meetings with trust companies. At no time did my mother or I feel as if we were being rushed, coerced or "processed" as just the next client on the books. The clear thorough advice and subsequent documents produced were provided with both speed and accuracy leaving mother at age 93 feeling safe and secure. With father passing in the midst of it all, they even helped process probate and were there to answer every question. Martha has a relatability that clearly puts elderly, and the not yet elderly, at ease. She's real people. She's honest. She understands the problem and provides a clear path to resolve. She and her entire team are there to help! We are extremely grateful to all Martha has done!

Relationship: Friend

"I first met Martha when she represented my family on matters involving my father who was elderly at the time. She handled those matters in a professional manner and really got to know the family. I have referred numerous clients of mine over the years to her that could use her expertise. I highly recommend and endorse her."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"In several different instances and legal matters, Martha has always proven to be one of a very select few attorneys who knows all of the ins and outs of Elder Law planning. I regularly refer my estate planning clients to her Firm for her specialized legal service, and will continue to do so."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have been a professional colleague of Martha's for many years and have worked with Martha on committees for the Missouri Chapter of NAELA. In addition to being well organized she possesses all the qualities of a great elder law attorney. She has held positions of responsibility in professional organizations (Chair, Missouri Bar Elder Law Committee; Founding Member and past President, Missouri Chapter of NAELA; Fellow, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Fellow, American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel) and her volunteer efforts in the community are numerous. She has received professional awards including the prestigious Powley Award (2008) presented by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and has received Volunteer Awards from the Alzheimer's Association, the Brain Injury Association and the St. Louis County Older Resident Program. These are the only ones I know of and I am certain there are others. She is without doubt a preeminent Elder Law Attorney."
